It is important to understand the types of issues related to our members' vineyards and/ or cellars that are most relevant to neighbours and the community. A greater understanding of relevant issues can help to improve the relationship with neighbours and the local community, thus minimising potential conflicts even before they arise.
- Local traffic: traffic associated with the operation of the vineyard and/ or cellar (dust, speed, infrastructure, equipment, noise).
- Regional transport: Capacity/ ease for employees and visitors to reach the vineyard and/ or cellar and capacity/ ease to transport wine and products necessary for the operation of the company (infrastructure, transport options, quality of access roads, etc.)
- Housing: accessibility to the housing market by employees and the surrounding community (availability, price, etc.)
- Education: Accessibility to the education system by employees, families and the surrounding community (schools, public and private, at various levels of education)
- Health and Safety: Accessibility to the health and safety system by employees, families and the surrounding community (hospitals, health centres, clinics, firefighters, police, etc.)
